  • Call to Order – 7:07 PM

  • Quorum confirmed for purpose of approving motions – 11 in total

  • Acceptance of Treasurer’s Report

    • Provided by Treasurer

    • Ending Total Balance as of 7/31/2024: $2,442.87

  • Meeting Minutes

    • Meeting Minutes read verbally by Secretary, including public Zoning hearing letters for ZBA zoning variances:

      • ZP-2024-004143 / MI-2024-003318 – Letter read by Secretary

      • ZP-2024-004390 / MI-2024-003278 – Letter read by Vice-President

    • Motion to Accept minutes as published and read into meeting for general meeting on 7/18/2024

New Business

  • Upcoming insurance bills for properties once acquired will be due. Amounts pending.

  • Volunteers needed for Halloween event planning.

Discussion

  • Unclaimed WNCA printed T-shirts will be going to Poppy & Bean.

  • Need more fundraising ideas to facilitate upcoming bills/fees.

  • A question was raised by a community member about tree/property maintenance for the back of the Hermit St residences on the hill up to Manayunk Ave and the responsibility for maintenance.

    • It was asserted that the owners/residents were responsible, not the city.

  • Cresson – One Way Discussion

    • Dave Wilby to facilitate a petition to be signed by neighbors.

  • General Discussion on Traffic Safety

    • Several traffic studies being conducted in the area, including Salaignac.

    • Vicki will contact Harry Hua on next steps.

  • A community member asked about the occupancy of the former location of the Loft Lounge.

    • Kevin Corelli stated that he had talked to the building owner, and it would be some time before another occupant would be sought due to damage and remediation needed. No current plans to sell the building.
